Whisky Works Quartermaster 11 Year Old (70cl, 46.4%)

Whisky Works Quartermaster is an 11 year old blended Scotch whisky, bottled at 46.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was put together by whisky maker Gregg Glass. A Highland grain whisky matured in ex-rum barrels gives sweet spice, and a portion of it was finished in pedro ximenez sherry casks. Two Speyside malts were married with the grain, one matured in American white oak and the other in sherry butts. The character is fresh and vibrant, with almonds, rum-soaked peaches, ginger, coffee and dried fruit.
