This is a 30-year-old American rye whiskey from WhistlePig Farm Distillery in Shoreham, Vermont, released as The BigShəBàng and sold in a 750ml bottle.
Its three decades of maturation took place in Vermont's four-season climate, where cold winters and warm summers keep the spirit moving in and out of the oak. After so long in wood, the spice and grain of a younger rye give way to deep dried fruit, dark chocolate and leather.
