WhistlePig FarmStock Rye (75cl)

FarmStock is a straight rye whiskey from WhistlePig, made on the company's own farm in Shoreham, Vermont. It combines rye grown on the estate and distilled with the farm's well water, then aged in locally sourced Vermont oak barrels and bottled in the barn. The estate rye is blended with older ryes, which gives a balanced whiskey that is easy to approach. The nose combines the grain character of the rye with vanilla and caramel from the barrel. On the palate the rye grain is balanced and smooth, helped by the older component. The finish is clean, with natural rye spice lingering.
