WhistlePig Piggyback is a 6 year old rye whisky made from 100% rye. Dave Pickerell returned to the WhistlePig warehouses to create an aged rye with cocktails in mind.
The all-rye mash is there for full spice flavours, while six years of ageing adds complexity. It is bottled at the strength Pickerell considered ideal, and is intended to be stirred or shaken into drinks.
