WhistlePig PiggyBank 10 Year Old Rye, Gold Edition, is a straight rye whiskey from Vermont, aged for ten years and bottled at 55% ABV. It comes in a 1 litre bottle shaped like a pig, with a gold finish, as a limited edition.
The nose is caramel and vanilla with candied ginger and dark honey, alongside fennel, liquorice and cinnamon. The palate has black pepper, rye bread and baking spice, with citrus peel, toffee and butterscotch. The finish is long and warming, with oak, pepper and clove.
