White Heather 21 Year Old is a blended Scotch whisky selected by Billy Walker and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. Malt makes up 47% of the blend, including aged GlenAllachie and peated Islay single malt, alongside grain whisky from the Highlands, Islay and Speyside.
The component whiskies spent 18 years in first-fill American oak barrels, sherry butts, refill barrels and hogsheads. After blending, the whisky had three more years in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso puncheons and in new Appalachian virgin oak. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
Heather honey and butterscotch lead the nose and palate, with soft smoke, orange peel and gentle tannins. The finish is medium in length, with honey sweetness and oak spice.
