This is a 13 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at 43% in a one-litre bottle. It was created by master distiller Jimmy Russell together with his son Eddie Russell, and first released in 2020 for travel retail.
The bourbon matured in heavily charred American white oak barrels.
On the nose there is oak, cherries and leather, with hints of apple, cinnamon and citrus. The palate brings vanilla, toffee and cherries, with light notes of liquorice, cloves and grapefruit. The finish is of medium length, led by oak, with honey and black tea.
