Wild Turkey – Kentucky Spirit Single Barrel (75cl, 50.5%)

This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, in a 75cl bottle at 50.5%. Master distiller Jimmy Russell selects each barrel by hand. The label records the barrel number, the bottling date and the warehouse number. Sweet and spicy notes are balanced, and the mouthfeel is velvety and soft. The nose brings dark fruit, toffee, cinnamon, brown sugar, spice, vanilla and oak. The palate is pleasantly spicy, with caramel, dark berries, cocoa, almonds and citrus. The finish is long and oily, with honey and caramel sweetness alongside oak and mint.
