Wild Turkey – Master's Keep One (75cl, 50.5%)

Master's Keep One is a Kentucky bourbon from Wild Turkey, bottled at 50.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was matured in new oak casks that were specially toasted and charred, and rested in the Tyrone G warehouse. It is the first release in the Master's Keep series. Eddie, son of Master Distiller Jimmy Russell, selected casks of 9 to 10 years old, reflecting his father's taste for mid-aged bourbon. He combined them with a small batch of 14-year-old whiskey. The nose offers vanilla, sweet honey and light spice. The palate brings vanilla, caramel and butterscotch. The finish is long and nuanced.
