Wild Turkey – Master's Keep Voyage (75cl)

Voyage is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey, released in the Master's Keep series and finished in oloroso sherry casks. It comes in a 75cl bottle and is made at the distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. The oloroso finish adds dried fruit, walnut and a rich, oxidative depth to the spice and vanilla of a high-rye bourbon. Sherry finishing of this kind is more often associated with Scotch whisky than with American bourbon. The sherry casks bring dark fruit, toffee and roasted nuts.
