Wild Turkey – Poker Pack (70cl, 43.4%)

Wild Turkey Poker Pack is a Kentucky bourbon in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43.4% ABV. The Wild Turkey distillery stands in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky. It was built in 1935 by the Ripy Brothers, when it was known as Boulevard. The brand name dates from around 1941, after whiskey shared on a hunting trip was called some of that wild turkey whiskey. Austin Nichols, which had long sourced its whiskey from the Ripys, bought the distillery in 1972. Jimmy Russell, who started work there in 1954, came with the purchase, and his son succeeded him in 2015.
