Wild Turkey Rare Breed is a small batch Kentucky bourbon bottled at barrel proof, 58.4% ABV, so no water is added before bottling. It comes in a 70cl bottle.
It is a marriage of Wild Turkey bourbons aged for 6, 8 and 12 years in white oak barrels with a #4 alligator char.
The nose opens with rich oak, giving way to caramel and chocolate with hints of floral and fruit. On the palate there is warm butterscotch and vanilla, and the finish brings fruit, spices and a lingering caramel sweetness.
