Willett – Johnny Drum Private Stock Bourbon (75cl)

Willett Johnny Drum Private Stock is a bourbon in a 75cl bottle, carrying the name of the Willett family distillery on the outskirts of Bardstown, Kentucky. That distillery dates from shortly after the repeal of Prohibition in 1935, when brothers Thompson and Johnny Willett established it. In the 1970s it produced alcohol for fuel during the petrol crisis, and its whisky distilling equipment was later stripped out. In the late 1980s Evan Kulsveen, who had married Thompson Willett's daughter Martha, worked to revive the family name by exporting old stock to Japan and Europe.
