Willett Pot Still Reserve Cask Strength is a Kentucky straight wheated bourbon from Willett Distillery, bottled uncut at full barrel strength. It is the cask strength version of Willett Pot Still Reserve, in a 750ml bottle.
The mash bill is 65% corn, 20% wheat and 15% barley, and the spirit went into the barrel at 115 proof. It is a seasonal release, issued twice a year around the Spring and Fall Equinox, in Willett's pot-still decanter with a purple cask strength neck label.
The nose brings caramel, vanilla, toasted oak, fresh mint and baking spice. The palate is full-bodied, with honey, soft wheat and cinnamon, and the finish is long and warming with oak and mint.
