Willowburn Moscatel Casks is a single malt from the Harz, made by the Hercynian Distilling Co., which is best known for its Elsburn whiskies. It was distilled from a mix of light, unpeated malt and smoked malt.
The whisky matured entirely in hogsheads that previously held Spanish Malaga. It is bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and without chill filtering, and the batch numbers 1152 bottles.
