Aurora is a single malt Scotch from Wolfburn, made from spirit matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at 46% and is non-chill-filtered.
A long fermentation and slow, gentle distillation come before maturation in warehouses on site, after which the casks are brought together for bottling.
Sherry sweetness on the nose is followed by freshly cut grass, autumn fruits and a hint of coffee and dark chocolate. Floral tones, spice and vanilla lead on the palate, ending warm and soft.
