Morven is a lightly peated single malt from Wolfburn, bottled at 46% ABV and non-chill-filtered. The barley is malted and smoked during drying, a nod to the original 19th-century Wolfburn distillery, which was largely fired by peat.
The nose is smoky at first, with hints of fruit and fresh sea air, alongside vanilla and oak shavings. On the palate come floral notes, then raisins and light spices, with malty flavours opening up. The finish has a soft honey sweetness.
