Wolfburn No. 375 is the third small-batch release from the distillery, limited to 5,500 bottles. It is a single malt made from unpeated spirit.
The whisky was matured for around four years in a mix of half-size 100 litre first-fill bourbon barrels and second-fill Oloroso sherry hogsheads.
On the nose it is sherry sweetness with heather honey and apple blossom. The palate opens sweet and creamy, then soft bourbon notes, oak and vanillin give way to dried apple, gooseberries and maple syrup. The finish is long, with honey tones to the end.
