Wolfburn – Morven

Morven is the third standard release from Wolfburn, the distillery in Thurso that is the most northerly on the Scottish mainland. It is a single malt matured for around four years. The spirit is distilled from lightly peated malt, with a phenolic level of 10 ppm. The nose brings vanilla, wood shavings, smoke, fresh sea air and a little fruit. On the palate it is grassy and floral, followed by raisins, light spice, malt and honey. The finish is long and smoky.
