Pentland is a Scottish whisky liqueur made by Wolfburn from matured single malt Scotch whisky and natural ingredients. It is bottled at 26% ABV, without chill-filtering and without artificial colour. It can be served neat, over ice or in whisky cocktails.
The nose is sweet, with bourbon notes, caramel, toffee and pistachio. On the palate there is Christmas cake and candied apples alongside Madeira wine, then soft, nectar-like, floral notes and a creamy sweetness. The finish carries autumn fruits and vanilla, fading to a trace of caramel.
