Silent Night is the 2020 Christmas edition from Wolfburn, a run of 600 bottles at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of the distillery's Northland whisky, aged between three and five years and matured in ex-Laphroaig quarter cask barrels.
The nose is sweet, with fruit and fresh sea air, citrus, a little cereal and a trace of peat smoke. On the palate it turns sweet and nutty, with grape and honey, floral flavours and a touch of dried fruit and spice. A gentle peat smoke lingers in the finish.
