Woodford Reserve Baccarat Edition is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 45.2% in a 70cl bottle, supplied in a bespoke Baccarat decanter.
It is finished in XO Cognac barrels sourced by Master Distiller Chris Morris. Each barrel held cognac for three seasons before being filled with Woodford Reserve, and the finish brings together American and French oak notes, fruit character and gentle spice.
The nose has toasted oak with chocolate and cocoa, vanilla bean, clove and cinnamon over dried fruit and citrus peel. On the palate come vanilla, dark chocolate, dried fruit and creamy caramel. The finish is velvety and long, with spiced caramel and mocha.
