Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is a Kentucky bourbon that is matured twice in oak. It first rests in new, heavily toasted and charred American oak barrels, then moves to a second barrel that is toasted and lightly charred.
The nose offers vanilla, caramel, honey, dark chocolate and toasted wood, with spice and nutty notes. The palate is velvety, with toffee, cocoa, cinnamon, toasted oak and brown sugar, leading to a long, warm finish.
