Woodford Reserve Double Oaked is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 43.2% ABV in a 70cl decanter-style bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The bourbon is matured twice: first in new American white oak barrels, then in a second set of specially charred oak barrels.
The nose is rich with vanilla, caramel and toasted oak, with a touch of dried fruit. The palate is full-bodied, with softly integrated spice, gentle oak tannins, toffee and dark chocolate. The finish is long, warm and balanced, with pleasant sweetness and a hint of wood smoke.
