This is a straight bourbon from Woodinville Whiskey Co. in Washington State, carrying a 6-year age statement. It comes in a 75cl bottle. The grain is grown on a family farm in Quincy, then mashed and distilled near Seattle. The whiskey returns to Quincy to age in standard 53-gallon American barrels, which are deeply toasted and heavily charred. The staves are seasoned outdoors for 18 months before the barrels are made, and the hot summers and cold winters of central Washington shape the maturation. Reviewers have noted honey, almond and cherry with a viscous mouthfeel, along with mild oak and rye spice, faint caramel and a touch of white nectarine.
