Woodinville Port Finished Straight Bourbon is a small-batch bourbon from Woodinville Whiskey Co. in Washington State, bottled at 45% ABV in a 750ml bottle.
It is pot distilled from locally grown corn, rye and malted barley, aged in new American oak barrels and then finished in ruby port casks. It is released in limited seasonal batches.
The nose shows dark cherry, roasted nuts, vanilla bean and toffee. On the palate come plum, dark chocolate, caramelised sugar, cinnamon and red fruit, and the finish is long and warming, with leather, oak and a soft port sweetness.
