Woodinville 8 Year is a limited edition straight rye whiskey, bottled at 100 proof (50% ABV) in a 750ml bottle. It is made from 100% rye grown on the Omlin family farm in Quincy, Washington, and distilled at Woodinville's Washington distillery. The bottles are individually numbered and the whiskey is non-chill filtered.
It spent eight years in new American oak barrels that were heavily toasted and lightly charred.
The nose has brown sugar, molasses, clove and baking spices. Spiced honey, espresso, dried fruit and mocha meet bold rye grain on the palate, and the finish is long and dry, with pepper, oak tannin and vanilla.
