Woodrow's of Edinburgh Warehouse Reserve Tomatin 11 Year Old (70cl, 57.8%)

This is a single cask Tomatin from Woodrow's of Edinburgh, an 11 year old Highland single malt bottled at a cask strength of 57.8%, in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in September 2014, matured in a refill bourbon hogshead and bottled in July 2026. The outturn is 259 bottles, and it is natural colour and non-chill filtered. The nose offers juicy peaches, mango and a touch of raspberry, with golden syrup and marzipan. The palate is silky and mouth-coating, with peach, apricot and dried mango alongside creamy milk chocolate, vanilla syrup and almond butter. The finish is medium in length, with honeyed aromas, bergamot, oolong tea and soft sandalwood.
