Woven Whisky Experience N.17 - Synchronicity (50cl, 46.1%)

Woven Whisky Experience N.17, Synchronicity, is a blended Scotch whisky in a 50cl bottle, bottled at 46.1% without chill-filtration or added colour. It is built around a Rioja-cask single malt sold under the name Staoisha, joined by malts from Benrinnes, Speyside Distillery and an unnamed Speyside distillery, and by single grains from Invergordon and an unnamed Lowland distillery. The whiskies were married on 17 July 2023 and then rested together for 21 days in ex-bourbon casks. The release is 3,502 bottles. The nose is maritime and mineral, with flint, salt and sweet smoky driftwood. The palate is medium to full, with orchard fruit, vanilla, milk chocolate and a waxy note, and the finish is long, with herbs and fine smoke.
