Wyatt Earp 13 Year 'Hazmat' is a cask strength American malted whiskey, aged for 13 years in charred American oak barrels and bottled at 80% ABV (160 proof) without chill filtration. It is a tribute to the Wild West lawman.
The mash bill is 73% malted barley, 14.9% malted rye and 12.1% malted wheat. The bottle has a silver bullet topper and a design of crossing pistols.
The nose has dark raisins, ripe dark berries, seasoned oak and vanilla custard. The palate follows with raisins, dark berries, oak spice and a smooth mouthfeel. The finish is long and warming, with oak, charred smoke and dark fruit sweetness.
