Yamazaki 12 Year Old 100th Anniversary Edition is a Japanese single malt released to mark 100 years of Suntory Whisky, founded in 1923. The whisky is aged for at least 12 years. Yamazaki stands at the foot of Mount Tennozan, south-west of Kyoto.
The nose shows peach, pineapple and grapefruit with clove, candied orange, vanilla and Mizunara oak. The palate has coconut, cranberry and butter, and the finish is long and sweet, with ginger and cinnamon.
