Yamazaki 18 Year Old Mizunara is a Japanese single malt created for the 100th anniversary of Suntory Whisky. It is limited to 2,000 bottles and bottled at 48% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without added colour.
It is made from malt whiskies that all spent at least 18 years in Mizunara casks. Mizunara oak grows only in Japan.
The notes describe dark cherries and ripe peaches with cinnamon and nutmeg, then fine spice with undertones of Japanese incense. The finish is long, with cloves, sandalwood and dried coconut.
