A single cask Yamazaki distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2008, selected by Shinanoya for The Owner's Cask.
Shinanoya chose it before the Japanese whisky boom. It matured in a sherry cask of the Bota Corta type, which holds about 500 litres. After only eight to nine years in that cask, the whisky had taken on a deeply rich colour.
