Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve is the current entry-level bottling from Yamazaki, in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was founded in 1924, belongs to Suntory and was the first malt whisky distillery in Japan.
The whisky is made from spirit matured in several kinds of cask, including Japanese Mizunara oak, Bordeaux wine casks and sherry casks, which are combined to give a wide range of aromas.
