Yamazaki – Limited Edition 2023 (70cl, 43%)

Yamazaki Limited Edition 2023 is a Japanese blended malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 43% ABV. The Limited Edition series ran annually from 2014 to 2017, and Yamazaki took it up again in 2021 with new vintage releases. The whisky was matured in Mizunara oak, which gives a creamy, aromatic style of amber colour, with a lively fruit character supported by a distinctive selection of spices. The nose is orange, pineapple and nutmeg. On the palate there are blueberries, coconut cream and honey, followed by vanilla, ginger and a touch of smoke in the finish.
