Yamazaki Peated Malt Spanish Oak is a Japanese whisky from the Kogei Collection, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. Shinji Fukuyo looks back to the first Yamazaki experiments with Spanish oak casks and smoky spirit. A subtle touch of smoke is woven through the richness of dried fruit and nuts. The notes are deep and include mocha, raisins, almonds and sweet spices.
