This is the 2022 edition of Yamazaki Puncheon, a Japanese whisky from the Suntory house, matured in puncheon casks. On the nose it offers acacia honey, ripe pear, juicy apples and fine vanilla. The palate is velvety, with layered caramel flavours, and the finish brings a subtle sweetness underpinned by oak.
