Yamazaki Spanish Oak 2022 Edition is a Japanese single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 48% ABV. It is labelled Tsukuriwake, meaning artisan selection, a name that reflects how small changes at each stage of production can lead to quite different flavours from the same distillery. The whisky is matured in Spanish oak and is described as rich and oxidative in style. Dried-fruit depth and a wine-like acidity run through it, together with the layered complexity that Yamazaki is known for.
