This is a single malt Japanese whisky from Yamazakura, a limited edition New Born single cask bottling at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in 2019 and matured entirely in a first fill bourbon cask, number 17189.
Only this one cask was bottled.
The nose is bright vanilla, fresh oak, toasted coconut and youthful malt sweetness. The palate is creamy, with caramel, light citrus, orchard fruits and warm bourbon spice. The finish is short to medium, clean and crisp, with vanilla and delicate wood spice.
