Millstone 5 Year Old is a Dutch single malt from the Zuidam distillery, bottled at 40%. It was matured entirely in new American oak.
The malt is lightly peated, smoked to around 20-25 ppm. The spirit was distilled on 24 November 2009 and bottled on 23 September 2015.
The colour is golden. On the nose there are orange and ripe banana with cloves and honey, over a little smoke. The palate brings gentle sweetness and toffee alongside honey and light peat smoke.
