10th Street Peated Single Malt American Whisky is made by 10th Street Distillery in San Jose, California, in a 75cl bottle. It is distilled in custom copper pot stills. The malt is specially peated and imported from Scotland, and the distillers find it works well with the local San Jose water. It won Best in Class Gold at the 2018 Whiskies of the World and a Double Gold at the New York World Spirits Competition. The nose is citrus with a touch of peat smoke. The palate is creamy, with vanilla and dark red apple peel turning to rounded peat. The finish balances fruity and smoky notes.
