15 Stars First West Straight Rye Whiskey Batch 2 is an American rye whiskey blended from three straight ryes sourced in Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. The batch honours early frontier distilling, and the three whiskeys are aged 6, 7 and 8 years. It is bottled at 52.5% ABV in a 750ml bottle. On the nose it shows floral tones, dried fruit and warm spice. The palate brings dried apricot, ginger, cinnamon and green tea, deepening into cocoa, honey and tobacco with rye grain character. The finish is long and peppery, with soft caramel.
