Barrell Batch 032 is a cask strength blend of straight bourbon whiskeys, bottled at 115.34 proof (57.67% ABV) in a 75cl bottle. The whiskey was distilled and aged in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana, and bottled in Kentucky.
It combines American white oak barrels of 5, 6, 7 and 10 years old. Two sets of barrels were blended slowly over three months, and a small group of spice-driven 7-year-old barrels was added at the end.
The nose is a wildflower meadow of dandelion, nasturtium and fennel, with Rainier cherry, watermelon, crushed apple and fresh oak. The palate has cinnamon rolls, buttery brioche, caramel, ginger and wasabi. The finish is crisp, with sea spray and lemonade, then raspberry eau-de-vie and pastis.
