Redwood Empire – Lost Monarch Blended Straight Whiskey (75cl)

Lost Monarch is a blended straight whiskey from Redwood Empire in Sonoma County, California, in a 750ml bottle. It is named after the world's largest coastal redwood. It combines bourbon and rye, with a mash bill of 55% rye and 45% bourbon, using whiskeys aged from 3 to 14 years. The colour is dark amber with a slightly orange cast. The nose brings clove, cinnamon, vanilla, orange zest and butterscotch, with a hint of sandalwood. Sweetness from corn meets spice from rye on the palate, with vanilla and caramel, and the finish is peppery and subdued.
