Redwood Empire – Foggy Burl Single Malt Whisky

Foggy Burl is a California single malt from Redwood Empire. The mash bill is 100% malted barley, made up of over seven different types of malt. Distilling at Redwood Empire began in 2015, and no batch is the same as another. The barrels age in the temperate climate of the Northern California coast, which allows a slow and even extraction of flavour. The name comes from a coastal redwood near Redwood Creek, which draws 40% of its water from fog each year.
