Redwood Empire – Pipe Dream 101 Bourbon Whiskey (50.5%)

Pipe Dream 101 is a four-grain bourbon from Redwood Empire, made in Sonoma County, California and bottled at 101 proof (50.5% ABV). It takes its name from one of the tallest and oldest coastal redwoods. It is a reserve expression that blends older whiskey stocks with Redwood Empire's own distillate, using bourbon from California, Indiana and Kentucky. It is bottled at a higher proof than the original Pipe Dream. The nose is deep caramel, toasted oak and baking spices. The palate shows vanilla, dark fruit and rich toffee, and the finish is bold and lingering with pepper, chocolate and smoky oak.
