The name marks the year Kentucky achieved statehood. Its mash bill is high in rye, which gives more spice and structure than many bourbons, balanced by classic bourbon sweetness.
The palate brings rye spice, caramel, vanilla and pepper with a touch of dried fruit, followed by a warm, spicy, lingering finish.
