A wheated bourbon from 1845 Distilling Co. in Texas, aged for 49 months and bottled at 56.6% in a 70cl bottle. The mash bill is 64% corn, 21% wheat and 15% barley. The nose combines vanilla pods, oak, pear, orange jelly and smoked corn. On the palate there is fresh bread with chocolate, dark cherries, a touch of wild honey, vanilla and pleasant citrus. The finish brings rounded tannins and lingers agreeably.
