A Texas wheat bourbon from 1845 Distilling Co., bottled at 50% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It has been aged for a minimum of three years. The mash bill is 64% corn, 21% wheat and 11% barley, which gives it a wheat character rather than the usual rye. The nose is vanilla, pear and orange. The palate offers fresh bread with Mexican chocolate, cooked citrus fruit, cherries and chocolate. The finish is pleasantly lingering, with rounded tannins.
