Haig Gold Label is a blended Scotch whisky from the 1960s, in a 26 fl oz bottle, which is 769ml.
The nose is grainy, yeasty and caramelly, fresh at first and developing towards toffee, with whiffs of coastal notes. The palate is bold and powerful, with plenty of burnt caramel, strong over-infused tea and a good deal of pepper.
The finish is full-bodied.
